My friends are hosting a 5K/10K to help support the kids at Drumm Farm. Please consider joining me on Sat, Mar. 7th. We'll help a worthy cause, burn calories, and strengthen our hearts!
We are hearing how times are tough, unemployment, gloom and doom. I was alive in the 70's and I remember major unemployment and hard economic times. Yes, people have lost their homes and are unemployed and it's sad, but 93% of Americans are employed! Let's put it in perspective and have hope. Let's get our minds off of the naysayers and onto a deserving cause.

Drumm Farm Trail Run: 5K/10K Hosted by our friends at GENESYS
“Running to our own BEATS to support the FOSTER CHILDREN OF DRUMM FARM”
March 7, 2009
Unity Village Trails
Race Start: 8am
Run to your own rhythm and help support the foster children who call Drumm Farm ‘HOME’ during this exciting 5K/10K run or walk. Join the children of Drumm Farm at the first annual Drumm Farm Trail Run on March 7, 2008. Drumm Farm is a group foster home, unique in its mission to provide long-term, family-style homes for area foster children, keep sibling groups together and ending the frequent and damaging cycle of disruptive home moves for as many children as our resources will allow.
Run alongside family, friends and the Drumm kids in this scenic 5k/10K trail run or walk. Bring out your kids to enjoy a kiddie run and other fun activities to entertain while you run the trail!
A $35 dollar donation covers your entry fee and earns you a snazzy event t-shirt, goodie bag and access to our aids stations and food tent after the race. An additional $5 donation reserves your spot at the all you can eat pasta dinner on Friday, March 6th on the Drumm Farm campus. Load up on those yummy carbs, pick up your packets and check out the campus that is home to the kids you’ll be helping out!
Join us at this important event- teaching our kids the importance of healthy living and showing them you care!
