A Success Story!

Hi Fit Friends,

This week I am hi lighting one of my clients. Her name is Ruth Ellynn and she has been training with me a little over a year. We workout once a week and she also works out on her own. She has been very dedicated and determined to reach her goal. She continues to inspire her husband (also my client), friends, and co-workers. Keep up the great work Ruth Ellynn!

I asked her the following questions:

1. How many pounds have you lost?
55 + approximately….. Hip, Hip, Hooray!!!!!

2. Why did you decide to lose weight and become healthier?
I didn’t want to go into my older years heavy.

3. What has been the easiest part about losing it?
“Nothing!” It’s been hard work, but what’s the old saying that anything worth doing is worth doing well!

4. What has been the hardest part about losing it?
Getting my head on straight and in the right place and keeping it there to get started and to keep going
5. What is your best tip for anyone wanting to lose weight and become healthier?
Cut down on (simple) carbs and sugars and increase fluids. Keep yourself productively busy. You’ll feel a lot better and better about yourself

6. Any other comments?
Stick to it, keep at it, and a support system helps. Cindy has been a great support to me. It’s been fun being able to wear things I haven’t been able to for a long time and needing to get some new things. I’ve been able to cut down on my cholesterol medication with my Dr’s guidance and he has been impressed with my progress. Realize and remember what is really important and that you are worth it! Just because something looks good or tastes good doesn’t mean it is good for you. Always remember moderation!!!!! All the best to everyone on your journey!

Thanks for inspiring us Ruth Ellynn!

Eat Intentionally,

Cindy
