GRATITUDE

This is a time for gratitude; for being thankful. I encourage you to take some time for reflecting on your blessings; health, family, breath, life.

Yoga instructor, Max Strom says, gratitude is the closest feeling to love. By focusing more each day on that which we're grateful for instead of that which we perceive to be wrong or lacking, we begin to set a tone of love and loving kindness in our daily lives.

Brother David Steindl-Rast :

Gratefulness is the key to a happy life that we hold in our hands, because if we are not grateful, then no matter how much we have we will not be happy -- because we will always want to have something else or something more.

H. U. Westermayer:

The Pilgrims made seven times more graves than huts. No Americans have been more impoverished than these who, nevertheless, set aside a day of thanksgiving.

Set aside some time for thanksgiving, not just the meal, but REAL thanksgiving.

I'm thankful for you! Eat Intentionally!

I am thankful for my whole life and all that pertains to. The challenges "valleys" and achievements "mountain tops"!
