Diet Plan Review

Are you working on whittling your waistline? Are you wondering about the different diet plans out there? Which one is most successful and why? Which one is the least successful and why? See which plan costs $224 per pound lost!

In my opinion out of all the plans, Weight Watchers is probably the best because it emphasizes awareness about the foods you are eating and the portion sizes. However, I have problems with WW because it doesn't incorporate exercise and the food is chemical laden. It's not about health, it's about weight loss. If you know one thing about me, you know I promote healthy living, not chemicals or extremes.

When I decided to lose weight I started with exercise. I worked out about an hour every other day and I thought I was a rock star! Meanwhile, I sat around the other 15 hours of the waking day working at a computer or watching tv. Anyway, after a couple of months, I realized I wasn't losing as much weight as I wanted, so I knew I had to start watching what I was eating. Once I cut portions, started eating natural rather than processed foods, and figured out how many calories to eat, I lost weight.

It really is "calories in vs. calories out". The key is finding out how many calories you need to consume and how many you need to burn. Once you find that key, it's gonna happen. However, as we discussed last week, we do have emotional connections to our food. Learn to let go of those emotions and you've found the key to LIFETIME health.

Eat Intentionally,

Cindy
